FAQ

How does OFFCODE copy trading work?

You pick a trader and start copying their perpetual futures trades in your own account. Each order they fill creates an equivalent order in yours, sized against YOUR balance, never theirs. The money stays in your account the whole time — there is no separate copy trading account.

What do I pay?

The performance fee is set by the trader, from 0 to 30% of profit, and is shown on their card before you confirm. It is charged on profit only, above the high-water mark: if the account drops and recovers, you do not pay twice for the same gain. The fee that applies is the one you accepted — if the trader raises it later, yours stays until you accept the new one.

What if I lose money?

The loss is yours. Copy trading carries no guarantee, insurance or subsidy: you are replicating someone else’s decisions with your own capital, and perpetuals can liquidate a position. The platform caps order size and leverage, which limits the damage of one trade — not the risk of losing.

How do I stop copying?

The card button turns into "Stop copying" and it takes effect at once: no new order is opened in your account. Positions already open are NOT closed — closing them for you would be choosing when you exit. They stay on your perpetuals screen for you to close whenever you want.

Can I become a trader and be copied?

Yes. "Become a trader" publishes your profile on the board with the name and fee you choose. Whoever follows you starts replicating your perpetual trades, and the numbers on your card come from your closed trades — not from text you write.
